Today, on March 08, 2019, organized Rally and Opinion Meet organized on the occasion of International Women's Day, organized by the Bangladesh Police Network (BPWN), Pabna district police. On this occasion, DDLG Mr. Salma Khatun, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Crime) (now promoted to the rank of Police Super) Mr. Gautam Kumar Biswas, Mr. AtiBhash, Vice-President Mr.Punak Pabna, Additional Superintendent of Police, District Special Branch, Mr. Shamima Akter, Mr. Shivajit Nag, President, Pabna Press Club, Area Representatives, Women's Representatives, Women's Organization, NGOs, Print and Electron A member of the media, schools and colleges, teachers, students and the district police force and senior officers were present. Discussion meeting was discussed in different stages (family, society, educational institutions and workplace etc.) regarding women's safety, family violence and safe working environment.
